Before he was a corporate mentalist and online magician, Alex was a Wall Streeter at Merrill Lynch. Before that, he was just a kid. At five years old, Alex spent more than eight hours a day practicing sleight-of-hand magic, in front of a mirror, from books he borrowed from the library. He was performing street magic for cash in elementary school. He refined his skills and mastered his mentalism abilities through high school. After 20 years in corporate magic shows and mentalism in NYC and worldwide, Alex was invited by TED Talks to speak about the art of mentalism. Afterward he held a workshop with attendees and demonstrated some of the psychological principles of human interaction.

FUN FACT #2: After Alex presented a corporate magic show at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), scientists and faculty tried to guess how he performed feats of mentalism that stunned them all. (Hint: They're still trying to figure it out.)
